Thoughts are a form of energy.

Here’s an out-of-the-box idea: thoughts are a form of energy. They burn calories. I remember reading that 20 minutes of study burns the same amount of calories as a walk around the block.
I have no idea if that’s actually true, but it’s an interesting take on brain function.
There are branches in the world of science that are fascinated by brain power. There are many questions raised about whether we even use all of our brain’s potential.
I think about that more often than not, especially when considering what areas of the brain are activated by love. By music. By prayer. I know that these things raise the soul’s vibration…
My understanding is that prayer is directed energy that we send with intention. There have been many, many studies done, countless blind test experiments on the effectiveness of prayer. This group of patients in the hospital prayed for, that test group, not.
Time and again those prayed for recovered from surgery (or whatever) some percentage faster that the other group. This kind of thing.
I’m in awe of knowing that around our world in secluded sanctuaries people are praying, sending directed energy to all the sore spots on the earth.
I would ask you, dear people, if you might take a moment after reading this post, and send your prayers for peace and healing to the Gaza strip, to Palestine, to Israel.
May Light pierce the darkness and illuminate the All-is-One in Each.
